Raspberry

7.00

I always thought it was strange that people would grow raspberries in the garden when they were so common in the wild. Once I saw cultivated raspberries I understood why they were grown. Bigger size, yields, more colors and outstanding flavor are all reasons to grow cultivated raspberries.

Varieties:

Jewel Black Cap Raspberry- Huge delicious fruits in early July

Bristol- Comes from Bristol, NY. It is another outstanding black cap selection.

Ohio Treasure- New black raspberry release that yields a summer and a fall crop.

Yellow- Yellow raspberries with exceptional flavor. Makes summer and fall crops.

Purple- A cross between black and red raspberry. Very vigorous. Ripens fruit around Aug 1st in NY.

Prelude- Delicious red raspberry, produces early summer crop (hence the name), also makes a nice fall crop.
