Hackberry  Celtis Occidentalis

Possibly the worst named and most under-utilized tree anywhere. Absolutely a top notch tree for wildlife and for foragers. Hackberries are loaded with sugars, fats, protein, and carbohydrates. They are a super food, and the trees have beautiful, striking bark.
