Hybrid Hazel   Corlyus Spp.

Seed gathered from extremely productive hybrid hazel bushes here at Twisted Tree Farm. The mother plants originate largely from several breeding programs in the midwest and northeast. We have been planting hazelnuts from as many different genetic sources as possible since 2009. These are very tough plants that produce huge crops at a young age. Hardy to zone 3 and resistant to eastern filbert blight.
