Seaberry Hippophae Rhamnoides
Extremely tough shrub producing copious amounts of nutrients dense berries. Loaded with vitamins, seaberries taste like tart oranges. Great for fresh eating and juice.
These nitrogen fixing shrubs feed birds and are totally resistant to deer browse.
Seaberries are not hard to germinate if the seeds do not dry out. Ours come packed in damp sand. They can remain dormant in the fridge or planted anytime. The challenge with seaberries is after they germinate, as the young seedlings are very delicate their first season.
Seed packs contain 20 seeds
