Sweet Cicely Myrrhis Odorata

The first time I smelled and tasted sweet cicely, I was hooked for life. It has an amazing licorice like flavor and smell. The seed heads actually do taste like candy. We have it planted right at the main entry way to our house.

Sweet cicely is a top notch pollinator plant with copious amounts of white umbel flowers in early summer.

Use it for tea, for the bees, or just to be able to walk by it for aroma and nibbling.
